With energy conservation and environmental protection receiving increasing attention from all sectors of society, the responsibility for energy conservation, emission reduction, and low-carbon travel in the transportation sector has once again fallen on electric vehicles. As research and development deepens, various forms of electric vehicle demonstration operations and commercial promotion have been widely carried out internationally. Germany's new Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG 2014) added renewable energy generation targets for 2025 and 2035, setting the proportion of renewable energy at 40%–45% and 55%–60%, respectively. Australian energy giant AGL and financial group Macquarie Capital signed an agreement with international group Better Place to build an electric vehicle network in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. The Japanese government has formulated long-term regulations, planning to have 8.8 million electric vehicles in use by 2025. With strong national policy support and continuous technological innovation in the new energy field, the new energy vehicle industry is developing rapidly. Since my country proposed the strategic goal of "striving to achieve carbon peaking before 2030 and carbon neutrality before 2060," developing new energy vehicles has become an important path for my country to achieve its "dual carbon" goals. The "Energy-Saving and New Energy Vehicle Technology Roadmap 2.0," officially released in 2021, proposes that by 2035, new energy vehicles will gradually become mainstream products, and the automotive industry will have basically achieved electrification. The "New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Plan (2021-2035)" issued by the General Office of the State Council proposes deepening the "three vertical and three horizontal" R&D layout, increasing the sales share of new energy vehicles to 25% by 2025; and by 2035, pure electric vehicles will become the mainstream of newly sold vehicles, with full electrification of public sector vehicles. According to statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, from January to December 2022, my country's cumulative production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 7.058 million and 6.887 million units respectively, both doubling year-on-year, with a market share of 25.6%, becoming an important force in the global automotive industry's electrification transformation. As of the end of December 2022, the number of new energy vehicles in China reached 13.1 million, accounting for 4.10% of the total number of vehicles. Among them, the number of pure electric vehicles was 10.45 million, accounting for 79.78% of the total number of new energy vehicles, indicating that pure electric vehicles are the main force in the sales of new energy vehicles.
